Nadgie Ortiz-Diaz, DMD, is a dual board-certified pediatric dentist and dental anesthesiologist practicing at Advantage Dental Care in Springfield, Virginia. With nearly a decade of experience, she ensures the comfort of all patients and offers sedation dentistry for those with dental phobias or anxiety.
Dr. Ortiz-Diaz earned her dental degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before completing an advanced education in general dentistry residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She returned to the University of Puerto Rico to earn a certificate in pediatric dentistry and then continued her education with a two-year dental anesthesiology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan, New York City.
Dr. Ortiz-Diaz is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. She stays up to date with the latest advancements in dental medicine through her memberships with the American Dental Association (ADA), Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDA), American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD), American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA), and Colegio de Cirujanos Dentistas de Puerto Rico (CCDPR).
In addition to her professional memberships, Dr. Ortiz is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dentistry and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Ortiz-Diaz is bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. She enjoys connecting with all of her patients and being able to help with all of their dental needs.
